sólo - adv. únicamente, only, just
The orographic reform changed the accent rules. Now, they both mean the same and you no longer have to put tilda. Only when the meaning is unclear
Voy al mercado solo a comprar fruta. (sin compañia)
Voy al mercado sólo a comprar fruta. (solamente)
Estaba ahí sólo un mes - I've been there only for a month.
Estaba ahí solo un mes - I've been there alone for a month.
